This intriguing driver is inside the Jivebox docking speaker made by Logic3. It has a large voice coil in a very open frame. The coil is an underhung design with a tall neodymium magnet in the middle. Perhaps the most interesting part is the use of a phenolic spider, often seen in loudspeakers from the 1950s.
