In this review, we highlight the new QSC KS118 subwoofer, run cardioid sound tests, and compare it to its predecessor -- the KW181. Under the microscope, the KS118 performs much better at high output levels, maintaining tight/deep/punchy bass, which is one area where the KW181 would sometimes fall behind. In cardioid mode, the bass output of a pair of KS118's is seriously jaw-dropping. You have to hear it to believe it!
