It accepts up to 5V via low level input and up tp 12V via high level input. To make adding multiple amplifiers easier it has line outputs for easy-daisy-chaining.
For precise subwoofer control it features a Variable Low Pass Filter with center frequencies of 50 - 200 Hz with a 24dB slope.
To protect your woofers from damage it has a built in Variable Subsonic Filter with center frequencies of 20 - 50 Hz at a 24dB slope.
The amplifier features a 0-18dB Bass Boost at 40Hz 0 - +18dB. Since this is a dedicated subwoofer amplifier it has a limited Frequency Response of 20Hz-200Hz.
Signal Sense Turn On makes the amplifier automatically turn on when the speaker level input terminal senses receiver output and makes for easier integration with OEM systems where remote turn-ons are hard to find.
It features a Cast Aluminum Heat Sink Design with built in fan for maximum heat dissipation. The aluminum side plates cover and protect the amplifiers nickel plated connections and terminals and are easily removed with the included allen key.
It weighs a solid 6.2lbs, has an Operational voltage of 11-16V and is just over 13 inches in length (SHOW DIMENSIONS)
For installation we recommend using 4 gauge power and ground leads due to a maximum current consumption of 65 amps, but wiring and hardware is not included with the amplifier. Make sure to check out our Metra T-Spec amplifier installation kits.
For maximum power transfer Kenwood has opted for three 40 amp fuses, with large gauge power inputs and dual speaker outputs.
